Salvador da Bahia – Brazil’s first capital
Prague – the golden city
Prague was never very high on my bucket list, but we had to go to a business meeting in the Czech capital and used the opportunity for two days of sightseeing. I quickly realized that I had completely underestimated this city – that was definitely not just due to the specialties of the Bohemian cuisine and the Czech beer 😉
It was January and the thermostat showed MINUS 10 degrees 🥶 not necessarily the best conditions for a city weekend. On the other hand, perhaps this is precisely why this historic city, with its snowy winter landscape, spreads so much charm.
Porto – a city for romantics
With Porto we had now reached the end of our Portugal tour. Completely without expectation, we began our discovery tour in the second largest city in Portugal. Surprisingly, this city captured my heart in a very short time.
Lisbon – metropolis, beaches & fairytale castles
After a few relaxing days at the Algarve, we were looking forward to a little more hustle and bustle in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. We chose a central hotel as our starting point and walked everything on foot, this is the best way to soak up the beauty of the city.
Algarve – Portugal’s south coast
To be honest, Portugal wasn’t really on my bucket list. However, we had to go to a trade fair in Quarteira for a few days on business and thought … why not?
Kauai – you can’t get more Aloha feeling
Who doesn’t dream of Hawaii? Dream beaches, hula, volcanoes … Only the distance from Europe is a problem for many. However, this is no reason for a globetrotter like us 😉

Bella Italia – Riva del Garda & Verona
Sun, pasta & Aperol Spritz … we were especially looking forward to that. However, the short trip to Lake Garda also convinced us in other areas.
Barcelona – vibrant metropolis with Mediterranean flair
Beach vacation or city break? That’s the cool thing about Barcelona, you don’t have to make a decision. A bit of culture in the morning, siesta on the beach and sipping sangria at La Rambla in the evening. What more do you want?
