About us

Hi Everyone!

I am Sandra, come from Austria and I am proud of it! I couldn’t imagine living in another country. However, I regularly feel a strong sense of longing. Longing for sun, beach, exciting cities, foreign cultures, exotic food …

How it all started …

As far as I can remember, I have always been in my parents’ ears with the wish for “vacation”.

As a 6 year old, I had to pull 2 teeth and I vehemently refused to open my mouth at the dentist’s chair. This only worked when my mother promised me a vacation – at that time, of course, I didn’t know that it was booked long ago 🤣 Well, my very first vacation took place in Podersdorf am Neusiedlersee (Austria).

The second vacation followed when I was 11 years old. My parents allowed me to travel with my grandparents to Italy . I saw the sea for the first time. From then on I fell in love and I preferred to spend my free time leafing through travel brochures and writing packing lists – even if the trip was only for the weekend to see my grandparents 😉

I own 63 travel guides and have traveled to 35 countries so far. That means I still have a lot to do for the next few years 😉

I actually find every country unique in its own way and I don’t want to miss a trip. However, I would always prefer an active vacation to a beach vacation.

Hopefully I can inspire you with my travel blog for some future destinations 😊

my name is Sven, I’ve already reached the magic 40 and I would like to give you a little insight into my life.

I was very fortunate that my parents took me on beautiful journeys around the globe from an early age. As a child I wasn’t aware of this, it wasn’t until much later that I realized what privilege I had to be able to gather so many different experiences at such a young age.

Another great passion is my daily sport. I love to be active and to challenge my body in different ways (gym, hiking,…) This aspect is absolutely necessary for me so that my body and mind function in harmony.

When I’m not working, traveling or doing sports, Sandra and I love to take long walks with our dog Kayla. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback follows us every step of our way and demands her daily dose of cuddles on the coach.

We started this project to present you the highlights of our trips and possibly give you a taste for one or the other destination.

I’m already looking forward to your feedback and hope you enjoy our blog.
