Honestly? When we arrived in Tulum we wanted to leave immediately 🙈 It was loud and hectic and had nothing to do with the relaxing break that we had hoped for. Excursion to Tulum Ruins and Cobá & the Choo-Ha Cenote

As beautiful as it was on the beaches of Mexico… after a few days I suddenly had the urge to immerse myself in some of the country’s culture and history. Where can you do that better than in one of the numerous Mayan ruins of the Yucatán Peninsula. We had already visited the most famous Mayan site Chichén Itzá 10 years ago, this time we were drawn to the jungle.

Punta Cana – Travel during the pandemic

After a year of restrictions, we were pretty much fed up, as is probably the case with so many in the Covid-19 pandemic. For weeks the thermometer has only shown minus degrees. Frustrated that we weren’t even allowed to spend Christmas with our families because of the entry restrictions, plus we were completely overworked, our mood sank to zero at the beginning of February 😔 Our decision was made: We need a break !!!
