I dare to say that Dubrovnik as a travel destination makes every “Game of Thrones” fan’s heart beat faster. I also watched all 8 seasons completely captivated and excited. However, Dubrovnik is so much more than just the filming location of this successful series.

Bike tour around Lake Neusiedl

Lake Neusiedl may not necessarily be the best choice for a bathing holiday, but water sports enthusiasts, wine lovers and cyclists will definitely get their money’s worth here. We opted for the latter… but we didn’t miss out on the enjoyment of wine either 😉

Excursion to Tulum Ruins and Cobá & the Choo-Ha Cenote

As beautiful as it was on the beaches of Mexico… after a few days I suddenly had the urge to immerse myself in some of the country’s culture and history. Meanwhile we also know that the Einsiedeln monastery is very popular with pilgrims, there are opportunities for skiing and cross-country skiing, as well as a delicious cheese factory. Apart from that, we discovered a really great panoramic trail from Einsiedeln to the Sihlsee. Reasons enough to pay a visit to this place 😉

Winter sports enthusiasts are attracted by 270 kilometers of downhill runs and 70 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts, and in summer you will find Austria’s largest bike region here. However, a completely different highlight lures us to this area… the Saalachtaler Höhenweg 😍
